well, lu bixing is out here. he's just walking, a little listlessly, holding something small between his fingers, but... when he spots uriel, he stops, and makes his way over.
and then just plops down in the sand beside her. remembering, last sunday, how she so sweetly came to spend time with him, when he was suffering so much. ]
[ she glances over to him, with some surprise, but it softens a little and she leans against him as her wings seem to loosen against her back. no longer so tightly folded. ]
[ he shifts a little to rest his good arm back in the sand, so uriel can lean against him a little further if she wants to - offering up the space, and then sighs, along with her. ]
Yes, yes it has been. [ god. ] I don't know what I was expecting, today, but...it was nothing like what happened.
[ Uriel doesn't want to push on too much of her weight, so she leans only enough to press gently into his side. ]
It just goes to show that anything could happen. I don't know what upsets me more, someone going after an innocent or something as accidental as this becoming a case.
[ and with someone she cares so much about, no less. ]
...I'll be alright. I have lived for so long... seen so many stories, and watch them end. It must be a lot harder on everyone else.
