An extremely odd fixation. He may as well throw the whole group into a colosseum if all he cares about is to see who would be the last man standing.
I have to assume the events that happen earlier are also Satan's doing. [ THEIR PARTY GAMES, THEIR... PERFORMER GAMES? which makes it more confusing. does Satan just. love games? ]
I wouldn't mind competing in one, if it means there are fewer chances of someone trying to pick at someone less capable of defending themselves. [ still madge about recent events. ]
..They're willing to do a lot for some kind of entertainment, in a way they are similar to Constellations back home.
Most do. Whether it be entertainment or otherwise.
We offer Sponsorships to Incarnations, who are mortals, to help them grow and progress through their own Scenarios. Not that everyone cares for what fate comes of their Incarnation- it's a game to some.
The Earth we were monitoring via Star Stream was taken over and heading to apocalyptic ruin. The ones with control over it will run Scenarios... you could say they're like missions, quests for those still alive.
The majority of Scenario failures result in death.
This sounds baffling. What purposes do these missions even serve? Though I guess this explains what you mean by some treating overseeing the world as a game...
[like damb chandra is basically a mass murderer himself but]
but yeah, sometimes it's a game to some to see people fight for their lives :) ]
Yes. Completing one rewards you, whether it's a Story or an item prize. It also pushes you along to be able to challenge the next one.
Completing the Scenarios means an opportunity to find your End for some. As Constellations, we are also going through our own set of Scenarios- we are just further along the lines than those of our Incarnations.
That depends on the person. For some, it could mean death, it could mean something else. It's whatever kind of conclusion they deeply desire and wish for.
Sometimes, you don't know what it is until it's right before you.
Depends on the Constellation. Some are higher in power than others depending on their rank. Historical-grade Constellations are the lowest and will obviously be weaker compared to the highest-ranking, Myth grade.
I am Narrative grade. Not nearly as powerful as Myth Constellations like Hades, Poseidon, or Zeus... but I wouldn't go down so easily.

Perhaps Satan enjoys murder mysteries. Who knows?

I doubt the demons decided to set up everything of their own volition, so that seems likely.

It's a more known term to describe deity and God-like beings alike. Though it is only Eden that has archangels for Constellations.

a lot of this does echo in a strangely familiar way, despite being a very different system.]

Ending up in some distorted version of Hell probably wasn't what you expected.

It wasn't. But if I am to believe in my final moments to be true, I suppose death wasn't too farfetched. As aggravating as it sounds to me.
