More so in some places than others for temporary or seasonal ones, which is what this seems to be modeled after. Most industrialized nations have at least one permanent amusement park, though! Those will often have many of the same kinds of games, rides, and foods, but tend to be higher quality and much more elaborate since they don't have to move them around.

Why, back in my version of Tokyo, there's even one themed around my image!

No, I mean myself, in the most literal sense! It's called Mepphyland, and there's a cute little chibified cartoon version of me on all the signs and merchandise!

It's quite a popular day trip destination for students at True Cross Academy and residents of the surrounding town.
