★ ( superhell 🔥 scaramouche )

aki will never understand my reference of naming scaramouche as "asahi" and that's probably for the best.

[SHE IS... His favorite cluster of gods plus Nameless and Lavi... Eto and Four are okay... Childe he is familiar with at least even though he would also be delighted to permakill Childe for good. What a crew.

Also she is so valid because he feels the exact same way, good lord.]

They should count themselves lucky that she's here at all. Without her, I'd say their chances of success would be more than halved.

[By his tone, he seems to think that would be funny.]

[Likewise, considering he's always been something of an observer himself, he has no real intention of stepping in and acting. Maybe not even if he's asked directly, because he's a little shit.

That said, as he opens his mouth to reply, he's WHOPPED BY A MEMORY INSTEAD...

Watching it unfold is... Fascinating, honestly. He doesn't feel any fear, because he's a creature that feels that emotion very sparingly, but there's something about seeing this very clearly otherworldly being descend and wreak such havoc in mere flicks of the wrist that still inspires something like awe.

Maybe he shouldn't admire power like this when it comes in the form of anguish or vengeance, but of course he does. He understands it intimately, after all - just how intensely and how far that desire for revenge can push someone.

As the memory draws to a close, he's quiet for a second before glancing over.]

...An impressive fury.

[He watches her as she speaks, like he's searching her expressions for something. What that is, not even he's entirely sure - but he watches nonetheless.

Typically, he tends to pry or leave things alone as the whim strikes, often erring on the side of caution with the assumption that the more he asks, the more others will ask for in return. But in the face of something like this, of course he's curious.]

What do you think of, when you see something like this?

[Pity, maybe, for what she lost? Or sorrow, because pity is too cruel of an emotion? He thinks he would personally feel quite irritated if some other version of himself was able to reach such levels of power through fury alone, but he supposes his fury also led to his godhood in many senses.]
