You can hear the roaring sound of flames and a wall of hot fire appeared between you and an unfamiliar archangel in front of you. The frowning strange archangel stepped back while shaking his hands.
He questions the one intervening, […What are you doing?]
The arriving archangel is much more familiar than the last, her voice normally so sweet-sounding sounds as sharp as a blade, [ Get lost, Michael. ]
The unfamiliar archangel stares at Uriel for a moment before smiling.
[ Uriel, you must’ve gone crazy after quitting demon hunting. ]
A purple energy started to overflow wildly in Michael’s body.
[ The constellation ‘Saviour of Corruption’ is preparing the ‘Demon King Slayer’ story.]
The green meadow was dyed with purple waves. The grass withered and an eerie sensation rose from your feet.
Michael’s status was aimed at you but someone blocked it.
“Archangels are basically ruthless?” A woman was standing in front of you with the Sword of Judgment. Her shoulders were faintly trembling and her spirit was shrinking back. Nevertheless, she was brave. The will of a human withstood the pressure in front of the archangel’s killing intent. Behind such a strange human stood Uriel.
There was a blazing glow in the background. Hellfire rose and the fields of Eden were filled with sparks that could only be Uriel's.
You gulped as the situation reached the bursting point.
It's apparent knowledge that Uriel was one of the top five strongest archangels. She had the highest voice in Eden among the constellations of the absolute good system.
Even so, her opponent was Michael. An unmatched archangel with all types of combat abilities. In Eden, there was no archangel beyond Michael in pure combat power alone.
[The constellation ‘Friend of Justice and Harmony’ is dissuading ‘Saviour of Corruption’.]
[The constellation ‘Guardian of Youths and Travel’ is looking at the ‘Saviour of Corruption.’]
[The constellations of the absolute good system are criticizing the ‘Saviour of Corruption.’]
Michael didn’t back down despite the messages pouring from the sky. Rather, he seemed to find it funny.
[Yes, it’s time to show who is the strongest in Eden.]
At the same time, Michael’s purple and white aura simultaneously formed around his hands. The force swirled around both hands. The aura soon turned into a two-handed sword. Sweat flowed down your body.
[The constellation ‘Scribe of Heaven’ is warning the ‘Saviour of Corruption.’]
A huge storm broke out and the sparks in the surroundings were instantly extinguished. This was the power of Eden’s highest constellation. At the very least, this huge pressure couldn’t be countered in Eden. The violence created silence as Michael belatedly dispersed his momentum.
Michael stared up at the sky for a while before grumbling, […Even you? Eden seems to be gone now.]
Michael turned around and started to move away. The heads of demon kings were hanging from his waist like fruit.
Once Michael completely disappeared over the hill, the human woman sighed and put away her sword.
You turn your head and see Uriel looking this way.
Archangel Uriel. She was more familiar to how she presented herself at Trial and Execution. She wore Eden’s uniform with cross earrings and looked elegant. The usual mischievous feeling couldn’t be found as nobility overflowed from her body.
[■■ ■■…]
The name seems blocked from memory. She stares at you with complicated eyes before suddenly making a startled expression. Then she turned towards the human like she was avoiding your gaze.
[It’s nice to see you, Jung Heewon. Is this the first time you’ve met me like this?]
Jung Heewon’s lips were slightly parted as she faced Uriel. Perhaps it was a type of excitement. Indeed, this was the first time Jung Heewon had seen Uriel. The Uriel in front of you right now was in a completed state. The archangel in front of you was the true nature of the Demon-like Judge of Fire.
she doesn't understand exactly - a later canonpoint Harrow would probably understand better. but she can recognize power, a fight for control between entities far beyond what she's used to.]
[ there's obvious irritation from the archangel at the memory, a cold look in her emerald eyes with her wings looking a bit ruffled. but harrow's voice brings her back and she remembers where she is.
she sighs, recomposing though she frowns now. ] That guy, ‘Saviour of Corruption’, just because he didn't like sharing a title with someone else-- he tried to pick a fight. He finds sport in hunting down demon kings specifically and my companion happened to be one as well.
With different worlds, it's no surprise some things aren't the same... ultimately, demon kings stand on the Absolute Evil end of the spectrum. Whereas Archangels, like myself, are on Absolute Good.
[i still don't know where jail is exactly but she goes to find uriel there. she's no longer wrapped in a million blankets, she's just wearing normal clothes with some extra cloak and bandages.]
...It is Harrowhark. Have your memories become any clearer?
Perhaps... admittedly, my memories that night were a bit... of an issue given the share of other memories.
[ which is probably why it's better she explains. ] Back home, I had run into another version of myself-- a Uriel of another timeline. She had her own set of memories and I my own.
..That night, I ended up seeing them again and I believe that may have warped what I had thought had happened that night. [ it's a bit difficult to explain, but she tries to word it in a way that kinda makes sense. she sighs after a moment ] I will say though, neither of us felt the need to kill each other that night when we awoke. So I don't think everyone wakes up with feeling the need to murder.
[ ah, right, there was some of that confusion still towards the end of the trial... ]
The memory confusion happened as he was dying, actually. [ she looks-- ashamed, guilty, and embarrassed. ] I accidentally dropped the antidote to cure the venom in his system, and when the memory had happened... I think I just sorta blacked out and went on a rampage.
[ closes my eyes ] Maybe if I didn't, I could have had time to go back to the bar but... [ well, it was a big snake. venom would have happened fast. ]
Considering that I was handling the snake, it was in a way. If I hadn't dropped it... [ it is a technicality. ] Only reason I came out of it unscathed is that Zagreus had fought it off before it could bite me as well.
[ that's understandable. as her memory recovers, she's feeling like she won't be able to offer anything useful but. ]
As you know, I was in the bar and the only one that woke up there. I wasn't really aware right away of who the other person was. But, I had assumed it was someone with intentions to kill even if I didn't feel it myself. I knew I couldn't let my guard down and expected to be attacked as I searched nearby areas.
[ a quiet sigh. ] I ended up finding Zagreus at the shoreline, who did not feel any desire to kill either. So, we took some time to try and figure out a plan together. There was a rumor that the beer could be used as an antidote for the snake venom, which we figured a snake bite could be used as a way to reach a state of near-death.
WEEK 3, MONDAY.

..But, yes. They have. I'm remembering what went down that night a lot easier.
